The following is the final project for business ethics. Throughout the course you have been studying about companies that have had ethical leaders and unethical leaders. You have learned that there are certain characteristics that promote ethical behavior. This is your culminating project to demonstrate what you have learned. You will create your own company.

1. Create a Training Manual

Create a business ethics training manual for a newly formed company. The manual is for the trainer’s use.

2. Create Training Material

Create a take away item for each of the topics. These items are Training Material that the employee can look back at later.

3. Cover the 7 required topics

The manual must cover the 7 main topics covered. Each topic must include an overview and training material.

4. Training Activity

You will also come up with at least one training activity that will be included in your manual. Ideas can be found online.

Your Manual will include the following sections:

• Cover Page
• Table of Contents
• Ethics Code
• Overview of your Company
• Topics 1-7, including: An introduction/overview of the topic and training material
• References-please give credit to any sources that you use

Topics to Include in your Manual:

• Ethics-What is ethics?
• Teams-What makes a great team?
• Theories-What are the underlying ethical theories?
• Stakeholders-Who are the stakeholders?
• Leadership-What is leaderships role in ethics?
• Corporate Culture-What is the role of corporate culture in ethics?
• Global Ethics-How is global decision making a difference?

Topic Snapshot:

Intro/Overview: This section covers a written overview of the topic. Explain what the the topic is and how applies to your company and employees.

Training Material: Create visual “take-away” material for your training participants. (an infographic, mind map, cartoon, brochure, or other material explaining the topic)

Training Activity: This needs to be for at least one of the topics. This will help to reinforce the topic.
