Details for the paper

• Must be a Word document so that I can use the rubric to grade it. Please do not write it in Google Docs and then convert. It does not always load properly when submitted as an assignment.
• Please use Times Roman 11 point font, double spaced, and 1 inch margins.
• Paper should be 5-6 pages long, not counting figures and tables; Paper may be longer if content makes it necessary. No more than 8 pages absolute maximum.
• Follow outline rubric for the content requirements; there will be additional points for formatting the figures with numbers, captions and citations.
• Remember, you may use the DNR websites for the states around the lake in question. Also permitted is the Illinois Natural History Survey site. Sites from Canada ending in .ca are permitted. No other web sources are permitted unless you check with me first.
• Figures should be numbered and have captions. You should also, cite the source of the figure.
• I will also expect correct spelling and grammar.
• Remember – NO QUOTATIONS. Paraphrase the material and cite the source.
• Use the Ecology (CBE) formatting for your Literature Cited section. I provided you with a set of examples of how to do internal citations as well as the references in the Literature Cited section. If you have questions, email or call me.
