THIS UNIT’S ASSIGNMENT
A basic assumption of Bowen’s multigenerational family therapy is that unresolved emotional issues, such as an individual’s failure to differentiate from the family, will be passed on from generation to generation. As you study your own family, review the various Bowen concepts on the Georgetown Family Center (Links to an external site.).
